Spiritual Renewal Weekend Retreat

Join us for our 3-day retreat focused on strengthening your recovery.
Retreat begins on Friday at 4 o’clock and ends Sunday after lunch.
You will learn tools and practices to help you keep your serenity on track. The weekend is dedicated to helping you deepen and develop your spiritual life. You will work on stress reduction, breath work, meditation, creative expressive work and more. Enjoy a weekend of healing practices in a beautiful setting surrounded by nature.

Gentle vinyasa yoga
Meditation & breathwork
Reflection practices
Dream circle
Expressive journaling
Sound healing and more.
You will spend the weekend in a pristine setting where you can also enjoy a heated pool, hot tub and steam room. Plus you are surrounded by hiking trails and other outdoor activities. Nutritious homecooked meals will be provided onsite.

Retreat Leaders
Lisa Bennett Silverman has been teaching a therapeutic approach to yoga and meditation for over 30 years. She became a yoga teacher through private training with ISHTA Master Yogiraj Alan Finger, and is known by many through her appearance on the Yoga Zone TV shows and their line of videos. Rated as the "best high energy in the country" by Allure Magazine, Lisa’s classes and teachings transmit her experience of yoga as a path to self-acceptance and spiritual meaning.
As previous co-director of the Mind-Body Therapy Department at Haelth, Lisa co-developed a 1000-hour therapeutic yoga teacher training certification program. Following an extensive career of writing, developing, producing, and starring in over 23 retail videos, Lisa has now fully committed herself to the spiritual and physical embodiment of healing for recovering addicts, and the preservation of indigenous wisdom through Shea Tree Center. Annie Jubb is the author of LifeFood Recipe Book: Living on Life Force (2003), and Secrets of an Alkaline Body: The New Science of Colloidal Biology (2004). She is a pioneer in bio-based nutrition and the use of food as natural medicine. Since 1989 she has taught extensively, with her weekly live lecture series running in Manhattan from 1991 to 2000. She is widely recognized as a world authority on detoxifying the body and cell rejuvenation. Her influence has been the catalyst for the living food lifestyle and revolutionary raw diet trend that is sweeping across North America. In 1998 she owned and ran The Raw Experience Restaurant in San Francisco, a raw, organic and vegan full service, and previously money-losing, restaurant. Within 10 months of purchase, Annie sold it back to the original owner as a successful money making establishment.
Dayna Bauman graduated from Tulane Law School with a specialization in Intellectual Property Law. She is a passionate supporter of artists and works for New York’s Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. She works with many musicians and helping to combine her knowledge of legal issues to assist artists of all types.
She has a strong interest in yoga and the way that it can aid in recovery from trauma and addiction. She is dedicated to building community centered around experiencing peace and happiness. Dayna leads a regular workshop on Dream Writing and will be sharing her knowledge of ow to use journaling to manifest the dreams you seek in your life.
Hope G. Turino, LCSW-R is a Licensed certified psychotherapist and advanced trained Level II in EMDR.
Hope has integrated EMDR into her practice since 2000, using it in conjunction with her 33 years of clinical experience as a psychotherapist. She studied at Smith College School for Social Work, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapies Studies Center and has further training in family therapy, modern analysis, substance abuse/addictions and somatic experiencing (Peter Levine, PhD) among other specialized trainings. In addition, she has studied and engaged in 15 years of mindfulness/meditation through the psychological/spiritual practices of the Ridwahn School (also know as Diamond Heart Approach to self realization as put forth by A.H. Almaas).
In 2010 she also put her life passion for horses to work. She trained and certified in The Eagala Method of “at liberty” (on the ground/non-riding) equine therapeutic work with humans and horses. Her trainings took place in (Phoenix Arizona (Part I), Havre de Grace, MD (Part II).
